  • V modelovém systému směsi popílku ze spaloven odpadu, CuCl2. 2 H2O, NaCl a aktivního uhlí byl v prostředí N2 + 10%O2 studován vliv oxidu siřičitého, peroxidu vodíku a kyseliny sírové na vznik polychlorovaných dioxinů (PCDD), dibenzofuranů (PCDF) a bifenylů (PCB) de novosyntetickými reakcemi v laboratorních podmínkách. Tvorba PCDD byla potlačována oxidem siřičitým mnohem výrazněji v porovnání s tvorbou PCDF. Obdobný efekt byl zjištěn pro peroxid vodíku. Vznik PCDF byl výrazně potlačen v přítomnosti kyseliny sírové. Na základě experimentálních dat a termodynamických výpočtů byly navrženy a diskutovány následující reakční mechanismy : oxidativní destrukce kyslíkových vazeb PCDD a PCDF, konverze chloridu a pravděpodobně i oxidu měďnatého na nereaktivní síran měďnatý a Deaconovy oxychlorační procesy katalyzované chloridem měďnatým.   • Under laboratory conditions in the model system of municipal waste fly ash, CuCl2 .2H2O, NaCl and activated carbon in N2 + 10 % O2 atmosphere the de novosynthetic reactions of formation of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs), dibenzofurans (PCDFs), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in the presence of sulfur dioxide, hydrogen peroxide, and sulfuric acid were studied. It was stated that sulfur dioxide is lowering more efficiently the formation of PCDD as compared with PCDF. Similar behaviour was found in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. The formation of PCDF was strongly limited in the presence of sulfuric acid. From the results and thermodynamic calculations of the studied systems the following proposed mechanisms are discussed.
