  • Nať máty peprné, mateřídoušky a šalvěje a květy řebříčku byly extrahovány nadkritickým a kapalným oxidem uhličitým při tlaku 9-13 MPa a teplotě 25-60 oC. Byly zřetelné dvě extrakční periody. V první periodě se rychle extrahovala téměř čistá silice, ve druhé periodě se extrakce zpomalila vlivem interakce silice s matricí a v extraktu převažovaly kutikulární vosky a voda. Oproti produktu hydrodestilace obsahoval CO2 extrakt méně monoterpenů, protože jejich záchyt v trapce nebyl úplný, ale zato výtěžek diterpenu manoolu byl více než dvojnásobný. Optimální podmínky pro extrakci šalvějové silice, testované při tlku 9-13 MPa a teplotě 25-50 oC, byly 13 MPa and 50 oC. Termodynamickým modelováním systému limonen+rostlinný olej+CO2 jsme ukázali, jak interakce terpenu s rostlinným olejem ovlivňuje extrakci silic ze semen. (cs)
  • Peppermint, thyme, and sage herbs and yarrow flowers were extracted with supercritical and liquid carbon dioxide at the pressure 9-13 MPa and the temperature 25-60 oC., Two extraction periods were clearly distinguished. Almost pure essential oil was extracted in the first, fast period. The extraction was then retarded, and waxes and water prevailed over the essential oil in the extract collected in the second period that was controlled by essential oil-matrix interaction. To demonstrate how the interaction affects the extraction of essential oils from seeds, thermodynamic modelling of limonene+vegetable oil+CO2 equilibrium was applied. Compared to hydrodistillation, the extracts contain less monoterpenes due to the low efficiency of their collection in cooled trap, but the yield of diterpene manool was, compared to hydrodistillation, more than twofold. The extraction of sage essential oil carried out at 9-13 MPa and 25-50 oC was most efficient at 13 MPa and 50 oC.
