  • Cílem této práce je sledovat vliv velikosti kavit na spotřebu energie v míchaných reaktorech s ohledem na vliv distributoru plynu. Výsledky experimentálního měření disipovaného příkonu i velikosti kavit prokázaly, že distributor plynu hraje významnou roli v interakcích mezi míchadlem a plynokapalinovou směsí. Dále byl navržen zjednodušený model předpovídající velikost kavit za lopatkami míchadla, který byl zahrnut do rovnice pro výpočet disipovaného příkonu v míchaných nádobách za podmínek aerace. (cs)
  • The aim of this work is to investigate the effect of ventilated cavities size on power consumption in stirred tank reactors with special attention to the influence of the sparger size. The experiments were performed in a standard baffled vessel, mechanically stirred with a Rushton turbine. Experimental measurements of power consumption and cavities size give evidence that the gas distributor plays an important role in the interactions between the gas-liquid mixture and the impeller. The final equation, predicting the cavity behaviour, is implemented in a mechanistic model for evaluating the power consumption under aeration.
