Description
  • The impinging jet of moderate Reynolds number(Re=10000) is studied by means of Constant Temperature Anemometry. The flow is excited by modulating the jet velocity. The effect of the flow is documented for nozzle-to-plate distance H/D ranging from 2 to 8. An observed feature is the reduction of the velocity fluctuation near the wall, which can be achieved by proper excitation. The effect of the flow excitation is strongest for H/D=6.

  • Impaktní proud s Reynoldsovým číslem Re = 10000 je studován pomocí anemometrie se žhaveným drátkem. Proud je buzen modulací výtokové rychlosti. Vliv buzení je dokumentován pro vzdálenosti desky od trysky H/D od 2 do 8. Je pozorováno, že pro vhodným buzením lze docílit výrazného snížení fluktuací rychlosti v blízkosti stěny. Vliv buzení je nejsilnější pro H/D=6. (cs)
