Description	The stable-isotope and qualitative faunal data collected by Wiese et al. represent an important contribution to understanding of the oceanographic history of the Upper Turonian of Bohemia. Incorporation of these data in local and regional relative-sea level contexts, and a careful treatment of quantitative aspects of the faunal occurrence could further strengthen this contribution. Unfortunately, the authors chose to address these aspects using non-transparent and an apparently flawed approach. Propojení těchto dat s místní a regionální historií změn úrovně mořské hladiny, a pečlivé kvantitativní zhodnocení výskytu fauny by dále posílilo přínos této práce. Autoři k tomuto účelu bohužel zvolili netransparentní a místy zjevně chybný přístup. (cs)
