Description	The summer school was focused to presentation of theory and practice in eco-physiological measurements with connection to carbon and water cycle in different type of ecosystems. The participants visit during the excursions Ecosystem station in Štítná (Bílé Karpaty) and in Bílý Kříž (Beskydy Mts.). Theoretical lectures were in detail focusing to carbon cycle, theory and operation of infrared gas analyzers (IRGA), photosynthesis, respiration, water regime, remote sensing, manipulative experiments design, metabolomics, eddy-covariance measurements, leaf area index measurements, and biomass estimation.
