  • Fotosyntetické organismy vystavené prostředí s měnícím se světlem vykazují komplexní přechody fotosyntetických aktivit, které silně závisí na časovém vzorci dopadajícího světla. Naše dřívější analýzy založené na zpětném inženýrství navrhují, že tato nelineární odpověď může být způsobena regulací fotosyntézy negativní zpětnou vazbou. Vyšší harmonické mody chlorofylové fluorescence jsou připsány regulacím negativní zpětnou vazbou energetického svázání mezi fykobilisomem a fotosystémem II v sinicích nebo reakcí Calvin-Bensonova cyklu v rostlinách tabáku vystavených hormonicky modulovanému světlu. Navrhujeme, že pozorovaná nelineární odpověď fotosyntézy (cs)
  • Photosynthetic organisms exposed to a dynamic light environment exhibit complex transients of photosynthetic activities that are strongly dependent on the temporal pattern of the incident light. Our earlier reverse engineering analysis suggests that the non-linear response can be caused by a negative feedback regulation of photosynthesis. Upper harmonic modes in the chlorophyll fluorescence emission are ascribed to negative feedback regulation of the energetic coupling between phycobilisome and Photosystem II in cyanobacteria or of the reactions of the Calvin-Benson cycle in tobacco exposed to harmonically modulated light. We propose that the observed non-linear response of photosynthesis may also be relevant in modulated natural light environment. The non-linear photosynthetic response provides a new insight into dynamics of the regulatory processes.
