Description	Článek se zabývá podrobnou analýzou návratnosti dotazníkového šetření využitím standardních statistických metod a geografického informačního systému (GIS). Zahrnuje také přehledovou literární studii návratnosti dotazníkových šetření jakometodologického paradigmatu - celkem bylo použito 228 publikací (1986 - do současnosti) z internetových vyhledávacích serverů. Statistická a GIS analýza byla založena na srovnání celkové populace, vybraného vzorku a vrácených dotazníků ve 23 městskýchobvodech Ostravy. GIS analýza byla potvrzena jako validní nástroj ve všech krocích statistickými metodami. Nebyly zjištěny významné rozdíly v časovém průběhu návratnosti dotazníků (získáno z denních záznamů o vrácení každého dotazníku) podle pohlaví, věku, vzdělání a zaměstnání respondentů. Zlom, po němž je možno odhadovat celkovou návratnost, je desátý den po rozesílání dotazníků poštou (75% vrácených dotazníků). The aim of the paper was a detail analyses of response-rate in the questionnaire survey using standard statistical methods and the Geographical Information System (GIS) and a review of background literature sources dealing with the response-rate as amethodological paradigm - in total 228 papers (1986 till present) from internet searches. The statistical and GIS analysis were based on a comparison of the total population, selected sample and collected questionnaires in the 23 districts of the city Ostrava. The GIS analysis was confirmed as a valid tool at all stages by standard statistical methods. No significant differences were found in the course of the questionnaires collection (derived from the daily report of receipt for each questionnaire) between sex, age, education, and the employment of the respondents. The breakpoint after which the total response-rate can be estimated is the 10th day after the questionnaires were distributed by post (75% of the questionnaires collected) (en)
