| - In Czech Republic and other EU countries, growing use of modified bitumens and demand for new testing methods triggered implementation of new standards. Many of the methods were adopted from SuperPave system, developed on the basis of SHRP. The methods are much more demanding in terms of personnel, investment etc. For their successful implementation, understanding of the principles, proper installation and training are necessary. The paper presents new methods and selected results of the project “Implementation of new EU methods for testing and quality improvement of bituminous binders and related products” supported by Ministery of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic. The main goal of the project is evaluation of bitumens produced in CR from different raw materials by different technologies, as well as comparison with EU imported binders. A considerable amount of data was obtained, which will be useful both for further research and development and for development of new specification in CEN/TC336.

- Rostoucí použití modifikovaných asfaltů vede v České republice a dalších státech EU k zavádění nových metod hodnocení kvality asfaltových pojiv. Mnoho z těchto metod bylo přejato ze systému SuperPave, vyvinutého v rámci SHRP. Tyto metody jsou velmi náročné personálně, investičně, atd. Pro úspěšné zavedení metod je nezbytné dobré porozumění jejich principu, správná instalace a také kvalifikovaný personál. Přednáška se zabývá novými metodami a vybranými výsledky získanými při řešení projektu „Zavádění nových metod EU pro hodnocení a zlepšení kvality silničních asfaltů a odvozených výrobků“, který je podporován Ministerstvem průmyslu a obchodu ČR. Hlavním cílem projektu je zhodnocení asfaltových pojiv produkovaných v České republice z různých surovin a různými technologiemi a porovnání s pojivy dováženými z EU. Byl získán rozsáhlý soubor dat, který bude použit pro další výzkum a vývoj asfaltových pojiv vyráběných v ČR a při vývoji nové generace specifikace asfaltových pojiv v rámci CEN/TC336. (cs)
