| - The aim of this study was to compare weights of carcasses and their dressing percentages and yields of edible organs and tissues in females and males of common pheasant (Phasianus colchicus L.) at the age of 118 days. Within the gender there were found high significant differences (P ? 0.01) in live weight and in the weight of carcass, neck, heart, liver, stomach, skinned and unskinned thighs, upper thighs, lower thighs and in muscles of lower and upper thighs. High significant differences (P ? 0.01) were found in yields of neck, heart, unskinned breast muscles, unskinned thighs, lower thighs and lower thigh muscles.
