Description	A barbel caught in the Ohre River (Czech Republic) in 2004 was diagnosed with gonadal and skin tumours. Surrounded by remnants of testicular tissue, two firm nodules were found within the gonads and classified as seminoma by histopathology. Skin lesions on whiskers and throughout the body surface were classified as papillomas. Levels of pollution in the river as a possible cause for this finding are discussed. (en) Parma obecná byla chycena v řece Ohři v roce 2004. V gonádách byly detekovány dva tuhé uzly obklopené zbytky testikulární tkáně. Histopatologicky byly tyto uzly klasifikovány jako seminomy. Kožní léze na vouscích a na povrchu těla byly klasifikovány jako papilomy. Jednou z možných příčin tohoto nálezu je diskutováno znečištění řeky (cs)
