Description
| - Séra 720 volně žijících přežvýkavců z České republiky byla vyšetřena na přítomnost protilátek proti Neospora caninum a Toxoplasma gondii. Protilátky proti N. caninum byly zjištěny v cELISA (konfirmováno metodou IFAT) u 14% (11 pozitivních/79 testovaných) srnců obecných (Capreolus capreolus), 14% (2/14) jelenů sika (Cervus nippon), 6% (24/377) jelenů lesních (Cervus elaphus), 1% (2/143) daňků skvrnitých (Dama dama) a 3% (3/105) muflonů (Ovis musimon). Séra dvou sobů (Rangifer tarandus) byla negativní. Protilátky proti T. gondii byly zjištěny v IFAT u 50% (7/14) jelenů sika, 45% (169/377) jelenů lesních, 24% (19/79) srnců obecných, 17% (24/143) daňků skvrnitých, 9% (9/105) muflonů a u jednoho ze dvou sobů. Jedná se o první průkaz protilátek proti N. caninum u muflonů, farmově chovaných jelenů lesních a o první průkaz protilátek proti N. caninum u volně žijících přežvýkavců v České republice. (cs)
- In the Czech Republic, sera from 720 wild ruminants were examined for antibodies to Neospora caninum by screening competitive-inhibition enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA) and confirmed by indirect fluorescence antibody test (IFAT); the same sera were also examined for antibodies to Toxoplasma gondii by IFAT. Neospora caninum antibodies were found in 14% (11 positive/79 tested) roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), 14% (2/14) sika deer (Cervus nippon), 6% (24/377) red deer (Cervus elaphus), 1% (2/143) fallow deer (Dama dama), 3% (3/105) mouflon (Ovis musimon), and in none of 2 reindeer (Rangifer tarandus).
