Description	Cílem naší studie bylo stanocit prevalenci cpb2 pozitivních izolátů C. perfringens a prevalenci hlavních typů A a C u novorozených selat s příznaky průjmu chovaných v České republice v letech 1997-2007 metodou PCR. Z hlavních toxinotypů C. perfringens v českých chovech dominoval typ A. Prevalence izolátů nesoucích cpb2 gen v České republice je na rozdíl od jiných zemí signifikantně nižší a v sedmi z 11 monitorovaných let nepřekročila 50 %. Vysvětlení může spočívat v rozdílných zootechnických a zoohygienických parametrech odchovu selat, které mohou omezit rozšíření těchto izolátů. (cs) The aim of our study was to determine the prevalence of A and C toxinotypes and the cpb2 positivity rate in C. perfringens isolates from neonatal piglets with diarrhoeas in herds in the Czech Republic in 1997 - 2007 using the PCR method. A large majority of C. perfringens clinical isolates from the Czech Republic were identified as Type A. The prevalence of C. perfringens Type A and C isolates carrying the cpb2 gene in the Czech Republic is, compared with other countries, significantly lower, and in seven of the 11 years of monitoring did not even exceed 50%. Explanation can consist in different parameters of pig flow from nucleus to convential farms in Czech Republic, which make possible slower spreading of these isolates.
