| - The objective of the study was to examine concentration of minerals (Ca, Mg, P, Se, Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn) and vitamins (A, E) in colostrum of Czech Pied cattle, and to compare their concentrations in colostrum with their concentration in milk. The concentrations of all determined elements in colostrum decreased quickly in the post partum period. The concentrations of the elements decreased during all 5 days in colostrum and except Fe and Mn were significantly lower in milk 20 days after calving in comparison with their concentrations in colostrum on the day 5. The average concentrations of vitamins A and E during first five days dropped slowly and significant differences was found only on the day 5. These results extend and supplement data about the content of minerals and vitamins in colostrums and milk of Czech pied cattle under conditions of the Czech Republic.

- Cílem práce bylo stanovit koncentrace minerálních látek (Ca, Mg, P, Se, Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn) a vitaminů (A, E) v kolostru Českého strakatého skotu a porovnání těchto koncentrací s mlékem. Koncentrace všech stanovovaných prvků v kolostru klesala v průběhu postpartálního období rychle. Koncentrace prvků v kolostru klesala během celých pěti dnů. Koncentrace prvků v mléce 20. den byly s výjimkou Fe a Mn průkazně nižší než v kolostru 5. den po porodu. Průměrné koncentrace vitaminů A a E během prvních pěti dnů klesaly pomalu a průkazný rozdíl byl zjištěn pouze 5. den po porodu. Výsledky rozšiřují a doplňují údaje o obsahu minerálních látek a vitaminů v kolostru a mléce Českého strakatého skotu. (cs)
