Description	The prevention in animal diseases in production herds costs less and also is more efective than treatment of diseases. A practical biosecurity program represents a risk reduction strategy developing and effective biosecurity program depends upon multiplefactors. The aim of our work was the assessment of the main biosecurity practises in swineherds, which can reduce the risk of zoonosis importation to swine farms. From the hygienic point of view biosecurity may be divided on external and internal part. External part is aimed to minimise the potentional for introduction of specific infectious disease causing organisms into the farm and its buildings. Internal biosecurity is based on restriction of stable microflora inside the farm. The level of farm animals boisecurity depends on the herd size, health situation in the region as well as of the immunostatus of stabled animals.
