Description	During last 10 years the marked industry restructuring has been realizing in the Czech Republic. Not only energy hard production has been slowly fading down but also total depression of production has been running. As far industry has been supplied by thermo energy from the central source now the alteration of the buyer structure has been coming to. The requirements of new buyers on consumed energy are different. For steam pipings it results in decreasing of the demand of the technological steam. The industry inhibition is so enormous in series of localities that housing and civic development become majority buyer. In such cases the completely new system of the heat supply from central heating system must be necessary suggested with regard of the impact on environment and sustainable development. As far these solutions are to fit the working and emissive limits in the long term the up-to-date resources must be used for their design and the GIS are indisputably one of them. (en) V posledních deseti letech dochází v ČR k výrazné restrukturalizaci průmyslu. Nejen že pozvolna zaniká energeticky náročná výroba, ale dochází i k celkovému útlumu výroby. Tam kde průmysl byl zásobován tepelnou energií z centrálního zdroje dochází ke změně ve složení odběratelů. U nových odběratelů jsou požadavky na odebíranou energii odlišné. U parovodů to má za následek snižování potřeby technologické páry. V řadě lokalit je útlum průmyslu tak velký, že majoritním odběratelem se stává bytová a občanská zástavba. V takových případech je nutné navrhnout zcela nový systém zásobování teplem z CZT s přihlédnutím i k vlivům na životní prostředí a trvale udržitelný rozvoj. Mají-li takováto řešení dlouhodobě splňovat provozní a emisní limity je nutné pro jejich navržení použít nejmodernějších prostředků, mezi které bezesporu patří i geoinformační technologie.
