Description	Discussion on the growth theory approaches in the frame of the New Political Economics In the introductory part of the article the fundamentals of the Neoclassical Growth Theory and New Growth Theory are defined. In connection with the critique of both those theories the New Political Economics developed during nineties of the last century is introduced. The second part of the text includes a discussion on the growth political factors examined by the advocates of the New Political Economics approach. The discussion also includes the possible doubts of their importance for the growth theories. The third and fourth part focuses on Mancur Olson-s ideas. He doubts the basic traditional growth theory assumption that individual economies occur the production possibility frontier. (en) V úvodní části příspěvku jsou uvedeny základní charakteristiky neoklasické teorie růstu a nové teorie růstu. V souvislosti s kritikou obou těchto teorií je představena nová politická ekonomie, která se rozvíjí v 90. letech minulého století. V druhé části příspěvku jsou diskutovány růstové politické faktory, které zkoumají stoupenci nové politické ekonomie, a to včetně možných zpochybnění jejich významu pro teorii růstu. Třetí a čtvrtá část příspěvku se zabývají myšlenkami Mancúra Olsona, který upozorňuje na pochybnost základního předpokladu tradičních růstových přístupů, podle něhož se jednotlivé ekonomiky nacházejí na hranici výrobních možností.
