Description
  • The occurrence of mistletoe (Viscum album) was observed during the years 2011-2013 in Chateau Park Lednice on different woody species. The most common host plants were (total 3039 individuals from 1424 were infected): Acer campestre, A. platanoides, A. pseudoplatanus, Crataegus monogyna, C. pedicellata, Juglans nigra, Robinia pseudoacacia, Tilia cordata and T. platyphyllos. The results of statistical analyses show that all infected host trees are higher and have a greater crown volume than uninfected individuals, in most cases these differences were statistically significant. The biggest difference was observed for Tilia platyphyllos, where the average height of uninfected individuals was 13.1 m and the average crown volume was 84 m3. Contrary, the heights of infected individuals were 20.3 m high and their volume was 433 m3. A strong relationship between tree height and crown volume in all host species was also confirmed. (en)
  • V rokoch 2011-2013 bol sledovaný výskyt imela (Viscum album) v Lednickom zámockom parku na rôznych druhoch drevín. Najčastejšie hostiteľské dreviny sú (celkom 3039 jedincov, z toho napadnutých 1424 exemplárov): Acer campestre, A. platanoides, A. pseudoplatanus, Crataegus monogyna, C. pedicellata, Juglans nigra, Robinia pseudoacacia, Tilia cordata a T. platyphyllos. Z výsledkov štatistickej analýzy vyplýva, že napadnuté stromy u všetkých hostiteľov sú vyššie a majú väčší objem koruny ako nenapadnuté exempláre a vo viacerých hostiteľoch tieto rozdiely boli aj štatisticky významné. Najväčší rozdiel bol zistené u druhu Tilia platyphyllos, kde priemerná výška nenapadnutých exemplároch je 13.1 m a priemerný objem koruny je 84 m3, u napadnutých je výška 20.3 m a objem 433 m3. Tiež bol potvrdený silný vzťah medzi výškou stromov a objemom koruny u všetkých hostiteľských druhoch.
