| - Amounts and composition of bulk-open field precipitation were monitored during five years (2001--2005) at Bílý Kříž in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids (908 m a.s.l.). Mean annual concentrations and fluxes of individual ions (H+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, F-, Cl-, SO42-, NO3-, NH4+) in bulk precipitation were compared with values measured at the intensive monitoring plots included in the International Co-operative Programme on Assessment and Monitoring of Air Pollution Effects on Forests (ICP Forests) in the Czech Republic as well as with values from other sites in Europe. Evaluated element fluxes with bulk precipitation were compared with element fluxes with wet-only precipitation (measured by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute). Wet-only to bulk ratios calculated for individual elements were: 1.6, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.3, 0.8, 0.7, 0.9, 0.98, 1.0 for H+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, F-, Cl-, S-SO42-, N-NO3-, N-NH4+, respectively. These values are in good agreement with average values published by other authors for
