| - The paper deals with the phenological periodicity of the tree and herb layers in the Corni-querceta petraeae-pubescentis superiora community. The research plots were established by prof.Zlatník on Hádecká plošina area near Brno in 1929. These plots were restored in 1995. The phenological observations were provided in 1929 by Zlatník, in 1995 by Maděra, in 1998 by Maděra and Úradníček, in 2003 and 2004 by Kvasničková. Sixteen trees and shrubs species and the other herb species were observed and the onset and duration time of different phenological stages (prolongation period of bud growth, bud with a green end, bud break -- open buds, young undeveloped leaf, mature developed leaf, flower bud with visible crown, flower -- inflorescence, unripe fruit, etc.) were observed. Climatic extreme years were recorded in this observation set. The hard and long winter was in 1929 and on the contrary the short winter was in 1995 or 1998. An earlier onset of phenological stages by max. 72 days as compared with 1929 w
