Description	The Cover Management Factor (C) plays an important role for computation of soil erosion intensity. This paper is focused on evaluation of the C factor during the non-vegetation period (1st November to 30th March) in dependence on climatic conditions. The climatic characteristics are expressed by the climatic region (marked from 0 to 9 according to temperature sums above 10°C, mean year temperature, mean precipitation total, probability of dry vegetation period occurrence and moisture security) from EPEU (Estimated Pedologic-Ecological Unit). For the assessment data of the Czech Statistical Office were used. It means the information about area of particular crops grown on the agriculture land in chosen 22 districts of Moravia and Silesia. Average values of conservation factor were determined for the particular districts for the structure of agricultural land resources and cropping patterns on the arable land. A simple linear correlation was used for the statistical evaluation of the relationship between non-vegetation C factor and climatic region and between C factor of non-vegetation and vegetation period.
