The extraction and identification of phenolic compounds is presented from five different sea algae samples, two brown algae (Cystoseira abies + Cystoseira abies dried with nitrogen , Undaria pinnatifida) and two red algae (Sargassum muticum, Chondrus crispus) via solid phase extraction (SPE) using Oasis uElution plate. Selected groups of benzoic acid derivatives (p-hydroxybenzoic, protocatechuic, gallic, vanillic and syringic acid), hydroxybenzaldehydes (4-hydroxybenzaldehyde and 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde) and cinnamic acid derivatives (o-coumaric, p-coumaric, caffeic, ferulic, sinapic and chlorogenic acid) were investigated
