Description
  • The silages of sorghum present a supplement to the feed rations based on maize silages. Sorghum is characterized by a lower content of fiber and higher organic matter digestibility. The production efficiency of total mixed ration sorghum silage -based is comaparable or higher comparing with total mixed ration maize silage-based. The aim of this study is an evalutation of the nutrients composition changes of Sorghum in the different harvesting time. The highest content of the crude protein and soluble sugars was at the beginning of July, in following months was content of these nutrients lower.On the second side the content of the dry matter, fiber and hemi-cellulose was gradually higher. With the decreasing of crude protein content is lower also a protein degradability.
