Description	Insect pests may be less distinctly affected by climate change than other species. In the Czech Republic, the increase in their number will invariably depend on the introduction of non-indigenous species. The changing climate may affect the occurrence and impact of the present pests both negatively and positively (up to 10% at more or less unchanging species number). Expansions of new pests into the territory of the Czech Republic, caused by climate change, may not exceed 1%. About 5--7% of greenhouse pests may be expected to occur in outdoor conditions. The actual trend of occurrence of invasive species is expected to increase by about 3--5%, the same as a slight increase in the numbers and impact of migratory pests.
