| - Samples of rape seed oil used as feed were collected during the production process. Just after the pressing, oil was pumped into a plastic tank where it was stored for 21 days. After the storage period, oil was pumped into a lorry cistern and samples were collected. The concentrations of phthalic acid esters as di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP) and di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) were measured in samples of oil. Each sample of rapeseed oil was measured twice for the content of DBP and DEHP. For the samples collected before the storage, the lowest concentrations of DBP/DEHP were found in the sample A2 (0.14 mg . kg -1)/ A8 (1.95 mg . kg -1) and the highest concentrations in A7 (2.10 mg . kg -1)/ A7 (8.00 mg . kg -1). For the samples collected after the storage, the lowest concentrations of DBP/DEHP were found in C8 (1.22 mg . kg -1)/ C8 (21.51 mg . kg -1) and the highest in C7 (2.93 mg . kg -1)/ C2 (59.33 mg . kg -1). Highly significant differences were found in DBP, DEHP and DBP+DEHP contents between oil samples collected before the storage and those collected after 21 days of storage (P 0.01).
