Description	Researchers at the Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry Brno (MZLU Brno) are determining the effects of establishment methods, optimum N + PK fertilization, N-fertilization form, and cutting height on the commercial characteristics and sward structure of turf species. This paper brings partial results from the grant project focused on extensive and semi-intensive treatment of communal lawns in relation to different levels of N + PK nutrition, N-fertilization form and the management system (cutting, mulching) in three turf species and two lawn mixtures. Researchers at the Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry Brno (MZLU Brno) are determining the effects of establishment methods, optimum N + PK fertilization, N-fertilization form, and cutting height on the commercial characteristics and sward structure of turf species. (en) Na Mendelově univerzitě v Brně byly řešeny otázky způsobu zakládání, úrovně N + PK hnojení a formy hnojení N, dále výšky kosení na hospodářské charakteristiky a strukturu drnu trávníkových druhů v polních podmínkách i na umělých substrátech. V příspěvku jsou uvedeny dílčí výsledky z grantového projektu týkajícího se extenzivního a polointenzivního ošetřování komunálních trávníků ve vztahu k různé úrovni výživy N + PK, formě N-hnojení a systému využívání (kosení, mulč) u tří trávníkových druhů a dvou trávníkových směsí.
