Description	This paper deals with the application of new evolutionary method of regression and prediction of an empirical data. The method is based on parallel grammatical evolution with backward processing algorithm which is further extended with a differential evolution algorithm. Thus a two-level optimization method was formed in attempt to take advantage of the benefits of both original methods and avoid their difficulties. Both methods used are discussed and the architecture of their combination is described. Also application is discussed and results on a real-word application are described. (en) Článek se zabývá aplikací nové evoluční metody pro výpočet regresní úlohy a predikci empirických dat. Metoda je založena na gramatické evoluci s algoritmem zpětného překladu dále rozšířené o diferenciální evoluční algoritmus. Takto je sestavena dvoufázová optimalizační metoda, která spojuje výhody obou předchozích metod. Jsou popsány obě základní metody a architektura dvoufázové optimaliazce, včetně aplikace na data z konkrétní úlohy. (cs)
