  • Re-education in walking requires careful definition of all abnormalities in the patient's gait that differ from the standard pattern of muscle activity. These requirements do not apply only to the prosthetic limb, but in unilateral amputation also to the sound limb, which has to fulfil higher requirements in ensuring stability and propulsion. The aim of this study was to analyse the influence of various types (conventional; dynamic) of the prosthetic feet on the gait pressure pattern of unilateral trans-tibial amputees. The Footscan system (2m plate) was used for the gait analysis of 11 males (aged 46.1 +/- 12.0 years) with unilateral trans-tibial amputation. We did not detect any significant differences in loading of the sound limb when walking with various types of prosthetic foot, with the exception of early end of heel loading when walking with dynamic prosthesis. The COP trajectory in a conventional prosthetic foot is similar as in the data obtained for a sound limb.

  • Pro reedukaci chůze je nezbytné přesně definovat všechny odchylky ve standardním vzorci svalové aktivity. To se týká nejen protetické, ale také zdravé končetiny, která je rozhodující pro zajištění stability a přenosu zátěže. Cílem studie bylo analyzovat vliv různých typů (statický, dynamický) protetických chodidel na rozložení tlaků při chůzi s transtibiální protézou. Pro tento účel byla změřena skupina 11 mužů (průměrný věk 46,1 +/- 12,0 roku) pomocí systému Footscan (2 m plošina). S výjimkou dřívějšího ukončení zatížení paty při použití dynamického chodidla jsme nenalezli statisticky významné rozdíly v zatížení zdravé končetiny. Trajektorie COP na statickém protetickém chodidle se více blíží trajektorii na zdravé končetině. (cs)
