Of course, children need to limit the time they spend in this virtual environment. The community of Minecraft players has been steadily growing in the Czech Republic, where there are already dozens of servers that allow children and adults to learn and have fun through this game. This paper focuses on the quantitative analysis of the language of young players of Minecraft, which in its written form very close to the spoken form - players do not respect the principles of spelling, create their own unique slang, there are also numerous acronyms used (either Czech or English), players also use emoticons, neologisms, etc. Data used in the paper are based on more than 6 month long analysis of the texts of players' community server MC Titan (n=205), one of the most used servers in the Czech Republic. In addition, the paper also analyzes the possibilities of using this game to support education in the form of so-called gaming.
