| - In a long-term horizon, the territory of the ex-Yugoslavia as a whole represents an emigration territory which is, in principle, continuously losing its population by emigration. After 1990, these movements were mostly forced and they were connected with a military conflict and massive breaching of human rights. Besides this, the outward migrations were strongly economically motivated (considering the economic breakdown and an overall decline of most countries in the region). Both types of migrations were primarily oriented to the countries with the already existing south-Slavonic and Kosovo communities, particularly to Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Of course, the migrations had complex impacts on the emigration and immigration societies ? demographical, economical, cultural, social, security etc. These may be considered as direct impacts. - V dlouhodobém horizontu představuje oblast bývalé Jugoslávie emigrační území, které dlouhodobě vykazuje pasivní saldo migrací. Po roce 1990 nabyly na významu migrace nucené, vyvolané vojenským konfliktem a masovým porušováním lidských práv, vedle nich ale zesílily i migrační toky motivované čistě ekonomicky (vzhledem k ekonomickému zhroucení většiny zemí regionu). Oby typy migrací se primárně orientovaly na země, ve kterých už existovaly jihoslovanské nebo kosovské komunity, zejména do Rakouska, Německa a Švýcarska. Migrace měly silný demografický, ekonomický, kulturní, sociální i bezpečnostní dopad jak na zdrojové, tak na cílové státy, nepochybně však také na mezinárodní vztahy. Cílem článku je zhodnotit možné dopady migrací ze států bývalé Jugoslávie právě z tohoto zorného úhlu. (cs)
