Description
  • The paper presents results on factorization by similarity of fuzzy concept lattices with hedges. Factorization of fuzzy concept lattices including a fast way to compute the factor lattice was presented in our earlier papers. The basic idea is to have, instead of a whole fuzzy concept lattice, its factor lattice. The factor lattice results by factorizing the original fuzzy concept lattice by a similarity relation which is specified by a user by a single parameter (similarity threshold). The main purpose is to have a smaller lattice which can be seen as a reasonable approximation of the original, possibly large, fuzzy concept lattice. In this paper, we extend the existing results to the case of fuzzy concept lattices with hedges, i.e. with parameters controlling the size of a fuzzy concept lattice.
