Description	The article deals with the unique painting (1754) representing the foundation of the Seminary in the city of Goa (Portughese India), in the church of the University of Olomouc. The author, J. K. Handke, represented the Saint in the moment of receiving the document of the foundation of that Seminary. It is the unique theme in Czech and may be European painting. There were contacts between Olomouc and Goa; one of the Czech Jesuits, Karel Přikryl, is author of the Concani Grammar, a language spoken till today in the ancient Portuguese India. (en) En la capilla de San Francisco Javier de la iglesia, consagrada a Santa María de las Nieves, de la Universidad de la ciudad de Olomouc, capital de la región de Moravia, se guardan dos cuadros, obras de un pintor local de calidad, Juan Cristóbal Handke (1744), que representan, primero a San Francisco Xavier al recibir el documento de fundación del Seminario de Goa, y segundo, a San Francisco Javier llamando a los habitantes de la India a escuchar su prédica. Si este último se conoce en varias versiones iconográficas, el primero es absolutamente excepcional por su tema. Puede explicarse fácilmente: los jesuitas de la Provincia de Bohemia (a la cual Moravia pertenecía), y de la misma ciudad de Olomouc, tuvieron contactos directos con Goa. Uno de ellos, el P. Karel Přikryl, estuvo activo en la provincia de Goa desde 1749, más de once a?os, primero como docente -profesor titular y luego catedrático de teología en el colegio de Goa-, ense?ando al mismo tiempo las humanidades y la oratoria. Al final llegó a ser director del mismo colegio jesuita. Incluso publicó la gramática de la lengua local, concaní. Dicha gramática fue aprovechada incluso en 2006, cuando se publicó una versión concaní de la Biblia.
