Description	Im Beitrag wird die Bedeutung und die Funktionen von Sprichwörtern in zwei Leitartikeln des Rechtanwalts und Journalisten Dr. Jakob Eben untersucht und miteinander verglichen. Die Texte kommentieren die Situation und die Beziehungen zwischen den Nationalitäten der Habsburger Monarchie im Juli 1880. Eines der Sprichwörter wird in seiner Grundform vom Autor selbst verwendet, das andere modifiziert in einem Zitat. In beiden Fällen werden die Sprichwörter zur Realisierung einer der persuasiven Strategien des Leitartikels verwendet - zum Hervorrufen von Antipathie gegenüber %22den Anderen%22, d.h. den tschechischen Politikern, durch ihre negative Charakteristik. Im gegebenen Ko- und Kontext wird die Bedeutung der Sprichwörter um weitere semantisch-pragmatische Komponenten bereichert, was ihre Beteiligung an mehreren Isotopie-Ketten ermöglicht. Beide Sprichwörter leisten deshalb einen bedeutenden Beitrag zur Kohärenz der Texte. Daneben markieren sie wichtige Stellen in der argumentativen Struktur der Leitartikel. Die Ergebnisse der Analyse könnten auch zur Präzisierung der semantisch-pragmatischen Angaben in Wörterbüchern verwendet werden. The paper is an analysis and a comparison of the meaning and the functions of proverbs in two editorials by the lawyer and journalist Dr. Jakob Eben. The texts comment on the situation and the relations between the nationalities in the Habsburg Monarchy in July 1880. One proverb is used in its normal form directly by the author, the other in a modified form indirectly in a quotation. In both cases they are used as a part of one of the persuasive strategies of the text type editorial - for the purpose of provoking antipathy against %22the others%22, i.e. the Czech politicians as political rivals, by means of their negative characteristics. In their specific co- and context, the proverbs obtain additional semantic-pragmatic components of the meaning which enables them to participate on various isotopy chains and to contribute significantly to the text coherence. Besides, their position marks important points in the argumentative structure of the text. The analysis indicates also some possibilities of the specification of semantic and pragmatic information in a dictionary. (en)
