  • Der Artikel befasst sich mit zwei Aspekten der Produktion von Einblattdrucken im 15. Jahrhundert. Erstens wird gezeigt, dass es sich bei den meisten erhaltenen Blättern um Kopien der heute nicht mehr erhaltenen Exemplare handelt. Der Holzschnitt Monogramm Christi mit dem Gekreuzigten aus dem Vorsatzblatt der Handschrift C. O. 120 aus der Olmützer Zweigstelle des Landesarchivs Troppau stellt sogar eine mehrfache Kopie dar. Zweitens bespricht der Artikel Inhaltsverschiebungen von Bildformen. Der Inhalt einer Bildform war nie von vornherein gegeben, sondern konnte aufgrund eines Details, nicht selten sogar ganz willkürlich, geändert werden.
  • The article focuses on two aspects of single cut production of the 15th century. Firstly, it shows that a major part of the preserved prints is represented by duplicates of now lost copies. In case of the woodcut Christ's Monogram with Christ Crucified found on the endpaper of the C.O. 120 manuscript deposited in the Olomouc branch of the Opava land archive, it even arrives at the conclusion that it is a multiple reproduction. Secondly, the article deals with the alterations of meaning of the image forms suggesting that the content of the image form had never been set beforehand and could therefore be modified on the basis of a single detail, or even completely arbitrarily.
