  • Kapitola pojednává o důsledcích reforem Marie Terezie a Josefa II. v Olomouci během let 1740-1790. Je zde věnována pozornost zejména vývoji městské správy a struktury obyvatelstva a jeho zaměstnání. Pro ekonomické poměry města je podstatný přechod od feudálního systému ke kapitalistickému, zejména v souvislosti s raabizací městských statků.
