| - Posture and Stability Control is a process of maintaining balance and position of the body and its parts in a constantly changing environment. Stability is essential and indispensable in everyday operations in different profesions, especially for nurses. The purpose of this long term study is to determinate which morphological indicators and how influence postural stability and its control. Methods. This study used anthropometric measuring-32 values, anamnestic questionnaire and testing with NeuroCom Balance-12 protocols. 41 individuals were took part. 22 (53,66%) were women, 19 (46,34%) were men. Resume. This study shows us a direction and it is possible to consider it as a convenient base for more specific continuation in this problematic area.

- Postura těla je aktivita, kterou potřebujeme proto, abychom bezpečně a dostatečně zvládali každodenní úkony v životě i profesi, jako je např. vztyk ze židle, chůze, ohnutí se pro různépředměty k zemi, umytí vlasů, řízení auta nebo poskytnutí opory druhému člověku. Tyto výkony vyžadují kontrolu postury a v mnoha případech ji považujeme za samozřejmost do doby než začneme pociťovat problémy. V tomto výzkumném šetření bychom chtěli zjistit, jak individuální morfologické ukazatele zjištěné antropometrickým měřením ovlivňují posturální stabilitu jedince, která byla testována pomoci přístroje NeuroCom Balance a to u testu Sensory Organization Test, Adaptation Test, Motor Control Test.
