| - Heat shock proteins (hsp) were identified in many infectious agents as immunodominant antigens with a protective effect. Immunization of laboratory animals by selected representants of hsp60, hsp70 and hsp90 isolated from several pathogens induced protective host immunity and significantly reduced clinical manifestation of infection. The present study involves preparation of a recombinant protein vaccine and a DNA vaccine. Both vaccines were derived from the hsp60 of the dermatophyte, Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Challenge trials with evaluation of the protective effect of vaccination were performed on calves and guinea-pigs. Both vaccination procedures reduced, in statistically significant fashion, the clinical course of skin mycosis in calves experimentally inoculated with the dermatophyte, T. mentagrophytes. - Proteiny tepelného šoku (hsp) byly popsány u několika infekcí jako imunodomonantní antigeny s protektivním efektem. Imunizace laboratorních zvířat vybranými zástupci hsp60, hsp70 a hsp90 izolovanými z z několika patogenů indukovaly po vakcinaci protektivní imunitní odpověď a významně redukovaly klinické projevy infekce. Studie představuje přípravu rekombinantního hsp60 a odpovídající DNA vakcínu. Oba vakcinační hsp60 jsou odvozeny od dermatofyta Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Vakcinační experimenty spojené s čelenžním experimentem byly provedeny na modelech trichofytózy experimentálních telat a morčat. Oba postupy významně redukovaly průběh navozené kožní dermatofytózy T. mentagrophytes. Na morčecím modelu byla potvrzena protektivita DNA vakcinačního postupu bez klinických známek postraních paravakcinačních projevů. Na modelu telat pouze vakcinace rekombinantním proteinem navodila zvýšení hladiny specifických sérových protilátek. Toto pozorování indikuje že specifické protilátky nejsou spojeny s navozen (cs)
