Description
| - The article presents an overview of techniques that are used for diagnostic measurement in power plants, converter flue gas boilers, heat exchangers for use in metallurgical plants and fluidized bed boilers. In the case of converter steel mills and tandem furnace is possible between techniques (BAT Best Advanced Technology) include the use of combusted gas from converters or use as an energetic gas. Technical University of Ostrava designed and tested various types of probes for temperature and velocity measurements, and for sampling both flue gases and solid particles. The results give more detailed information about the behavior of the fluidized layer in various fluidized bed boilers, combustion chambers and heat exchangers. Diagnostic measurement is mainly focused on the area of the combustion chamber, fireplaces, hot cyclones and II. pass of the boiler.
