Description
  • Metalurgické odpadní materiály, kal z kyslíkového konvertoru, odprašky z výroby litiny, kamínek a struska z recyklace olověných akumulátorů, byly podrobeny biologické oxidaci s bakteriemi Acidithiobacillus. • Metallurgical wastes, oxygen converter sludge, dust from the cast iron production, lead matte, and slug from recycling of used lead batteries, were treated with Acidithiobacillus bacteria. Bacterial activity and adaptability on wastes and some mixtures was observed. Acidithiobacillus bacteria may easily attack oxygen converter sludge, lead matte, and slug and affect mobility of metals. Cast iron dust is not suitable substrate for applied bacteria due to the absence of reduced sulphur and iron in mineralogical composition, nevertheless the pure culture was able to adapt to the mixture of this waste with slag.
