  • The effects of short milling (2 x 10 min) of two fractions of kaolinite (< 5 &#956;m (S5) and 5-45 &#956;m (S)), previously expanded by intercalation with 20 wt.% and 40 wt.% urea (U) and exfoliated/delaminated using low-temperature procedures, were studied.   • V práci je uvedena nízkoteplotní exfoliace/delaminace dvou frakcí kaolinitu (< 5 &#956;m (S5) a 5-45 &#956;m (S) po jejich předchozích interkalacích s močovinou (U), 20 hm.% a 40 hm.%, a krátkodobém mletí (2x10 min). Vzorky byly analyzovány pomocí rentgenové práškové difrakce (XRPD), do interpretací výsledků přispěla měření specifického povrchu (SSA), distribuce velikosti částic (PSD) a infračervená spektroskopie (FTIR). Exfoliované vzorky obsahovaly fázi 7 &#197; kaolinitu (K) a další krystalickou fázi (H) s průměrnou hodnotou d001 = 8.322(60) &#197;, která odpovídá vrstevnaté struktuře s roubovanými vrstvami močoviny či vody. Vzorky S5 po exfoliaci vykazovaly hodnoty SSA zvětšené z 20.2 m2/g na 25 - 35 m2/g, přičemž median zrn se výrazně nezměnil, o čemž svědčí jeho poměrně stálá průmerná velikost (s malým rozptylem) MD = 2.80(20) &#956;m. Exfoliované/ delaminované vzorky S měly výrazně větší hodnoty SSA (9.4 m2/g u S na 12.5 m2/g až 20.5 m2/g) avšak ve srovnání s S5 došlo k t (cs)
