Description
  • The purpose of the paper is to present and test a strategy for an effective solving of structural reliability problems by the simulation techniques. The proposed approach is based on a combination of the application of variance reduction techniques for reducing the number of simulation steps and the application of iterative solvers for reducing the cost of repeated deterministic analysis. The achieved results were also successfully used for the content-based information retrieval.

  • Cílem příspěvku je prezentovat a testovat strategii pro efektivní řešení úloh strukturální spolehlivosti simulačními technikami. Navrhovaný přístup je založen na kombinaci metod redukce rozptylu pro snížení počtu simulačních kroků a na aplikací iteračních řešičů s cílem snížit cenu opakovaných deterministických analýz. Dosažené výsledky byly taktéž úspěšně použity pro vyhledávání informací obsahem (content-based information retrieval). (cs)
