Description	The economic crisis has influenced many aspects of casual life and between the most sensible impacts belongs important increase of unemployment rate. This phenomenon has not influenced all age groups equally however. The aim of the article is to evaluate the change of age structure of (un)employed individuals during the economic crisis in the European union member countries and homogeneous sub-groups in the period 2007-2013. The results suggest that the economic crisis has caused increase of unemployment rate in the selected age groups, simultaneously all groups were not influenced equally. Some EU member countries have succeeded in the implementation of the labour policy so they reduced the impact of economic crisis on the most vulnerable age groups.
