| - Globalizace se stala předmětem každodenní pozornosti. Existuje široký konsensus, že tento proces zvyšuje riziko i příležitosti jak pro jednotlivce tak i celá společenství. Stať se zabývá vzájemným vztahem identity a globalizace. Je ukázáno, že obyvatelstvo je každodenně vystaveno příliš mnoha složitým a intenzivním sociálním, ekonomickým, kulturním a jiným faktorům a vztahům, což není v souladu s lidskou přirozeností, protože lidské smysly nemohou vnímat a pojmout takovéto množství stimulů ze svého okolí. Globální procesy mění naše vnímání času a prostoru. Lidské identity a chování jsou takto ovlivněny dosud bezprecedentním způsobem. Hlavním cílem článku je objasnění způsobů, kterými globální síly utvářejí identitu jednotlivců. Z fyzického hlediska představuje globalizace urychlení globálního oběhu osob a produktů. To samé se týká také oběhu image a symbolů ve virtuálním světě médií. Proto je podstatná část článku věnována zprostředkovateli dopadu globálních sil na individuální identity, kterým jsou m (cs)
- The process of globalisation has become the subject of everyday attention. There is a wide consensus that it increases risks and opportunities for both individuals and communities. The paper presents close (inter)connectedness of the issues of identity and globalisation. It is argued that the population yields to the intensity, quantity and complexity of social, economic, cultural and other factors and relations in daily reality since human senses were not constructed to perceive so great a number of stimuli from the environment. Global processes alter our perception of time and space. Subsequently, human identities and behaviour are affected in an unprecedented way. The main purpose of this paper is to clarify some aspects and continuities of the ways in which global forces constitute the individual identities. Globalisation in the physical sense means the acceleration of the circulation of products and people on a global scale. The same holds true for the circulation of images and symbols in the vir
