Description
| - For obtaining of materials data (primarily of thermo-physical and thermo-dynamical data) the following experimental equipments are used at our working site FMME-Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, DFChTTP-Department of Physical Chemistry and Theory of Technological Processes and DM-Department of Metallurgy: SETSYS 18TM thermal analyser, STA 449 F3 Jupiter thermal analyser, Theta Industries viscosimeter and equipments for measurement of surface and interfacial tensions. The research possibilities were expanded thanks to cooperation between DFChTTP, DM, Research and Development (RD) of Třinec steelworks and in the frame of „RMSTC“ project (Regional Materials Science and Technology Centre). New equipments (Netzsch STA 449 F3 Jupiter and equipment for viscosity measurement of oxide systems Anton Paar) substantially widen the research possibilities at our working site. Purchase of high temperature calorimeter is planned also in the frame of decentralised development project at VŠB-TU Ostrava.
