  • In paper attention to the most important evaluation parameters influencing mechanical properties of high manganese alloys, material TWIP concretely, is devoted. First of all, contribution is orientated to evaluation of stacking fault energy (SFE) level decisive for preferentially realised mechanism type in the investigated alloy. In paper stacking fault energies for four heats with scaled manganese and carbon chemical composition are calculated. With the increased manganese content a growth of the SFE is detected, likewise as with the increasing carbon one.
