  • Mechanismus reakce N2O+CO je velmi složitý, především proto, že CO je schopno s N2O nejen přímo reagovat, ale rovněž může různými způsoby interagovat s použitým oxidickým katalyzátorem. Pro pochopení redukce N2O pomocí CO je proto nezbytné sledovat interakci CO se samotným katalyzátorem.V tomto příspěvku byla sledována interakce Co-Mn-Al katalyzátoru (směsný oxid) se zředěným CO. Bylo jištěno, že po expozici katalyzátoru CO dochází k redukci oxidovaných míst za vzniku CO2. Po spotřebování povrchového kyslíku dochází k difúzi kyslíku zevnitř katalyzátoru k jeho povrchu. Kromě redukce katalyzátoru docházelo rovněž k adsorpci CO na redukovaných místech a/nebo zakomponování CO do struktury katalyzátoru. Průběh redukce katalyzátoru byl silně závislý na aktuálním stavu katalyzátoru - míře jeho oxidovanosti a na množství preadsorbovaných složek. (cs)
  • The mechanism of N2O+CO reaction is very complex especially due to the ability of CO to react with N2O as well as interact with catalyst in different manners. Consequently, the studying of carbon monoxide interaction with catalyst is prerequisite for understanding of N2O+CO reaction. In the present work, interactions of Co-Mn-Al mixed oxide with diluted CO were examined by the CO step response experiments. A reduction of oxidized catalyst sites with simultaneous CO2 formation was observed. After consumption of surface oxygen, a diffusion of the subsurface oxygen occurred and subsequent oxidation of reduced sites was detected. The subsequent part of CO was adsorbed on reduced sites and/or it was incorporated via these sites in the catalyst structure. The course of the catalyst reduction was strongly influenced by the actual catalyst state ? the extent of catalyst reduction or oxidation and amount of preadsorbed species.
