  • Geopolymérní pojiva a kompozity představují materiály, kterým je v posledním období věnovaná značná pozornost. Důvodem jsou jejich vlastnosti jako vysoká pevnost, dlouhodobá stálost, odolnost vůči korozi a další. Významná je skutečnost, že tyto materiály lze připravit nízkoenergeticky náročnými technologiemi při využití odpadních strusek z metalurgie železa. Produkce pojiv tohoto typu na rozdíl od výroby portlandského cementu probíhá za výrazně nižší produkce CO2 a to jak palivového tak i technologického. (cs)
  • Geopolymer binders and composites represent materials to which is recently paid significant attention. The reasons are their characteristics such as high strength, long-term durability, resistance to corrosion solutions action etc. Their important quality is the fact, that these materials are possible to prepare with the technologies that can be considered for a low energetic and simultaneously can be utilized the waste slag from the iron metallurgy for their preparation. Production of such a binders type contributes in comparison to Portland cement manufacture to the decrease of fuel and technological CO2 production. In this context is interesting the course of study of geopolymer binders on the basis of steel slags, that haven?t had solved the problem of their further material utilization until now.
