  • There are a number of studies related to the geopolymeric materials, but there is not enough information about the properties of mixes of different lightweight aggregates and their bahaviour during the thermal treatment. The thermal behaviour of the inorganic geopolymeric materials is of high interest as these materials possess advantageous properties such heat and fire resistance and can be, unlike conventional ceramic materials, processed at low temperatures. Therefore, an experimental investigation related to the thermal behaviour of the lightweight geopolymeric composites was carried out and the results reported. In the present work, the geopolymeric materials made using granulated blast furnace slag, metakaolinite, expanded perlite, and alkaline activator were prepared and heated up to 1100 °C. The physical properties, new phase formation, and microstructure were investigated.

  • Existuje řada studií zabývajících se geopolymerními materiály, ale není dostatek informací o vlastnostech směsí různých lehčených agregátů a jejich chování během tepelného namáhání. Jelikož tyto materiály vykazují prospěšné vlastnosti jako je tepelná odolnost a odolnost proti ohni, má tepelné chování anorganických geopolymerních materiálů značný význam. Tyto materiály mohou být zároveň, na rozdíl od běžných keramických materiálů, připravovány za nízkých teplot. Proto byly provedeny experimenty týkající se tepelného chování lehčených geopolymerních kompozitů. Pro tuto práci byly připraveny geopolymerní materiály užitím granulované vysokopecní strusky, metakaolinitu, expandovaného perlitu a alkalického aktivátoru a byly následně žíhány do teploty 1100°C. Byly studovány fyzikální vlastnosti, vznik nových fází a mikrostruktura. (cs)
