Description
V získaných bakteriálních výluzích byly sledovány koncentrace Fe, Zn, Cd, Pb a Mn. (cs)
  • Heavy metals contained in metallurgical wastes from ferrous- and non-ferrous metals production, which are almost on the present deposited, merge into leaches with other impurities during the land filling and are dangerous for the environment by that. There are several pre-treatment possibilities for these problematic wastes that include acidic leaching or biological oxidation. Recycling of fine-grained metallurgical wastes with high content of iron is still limited due to concentrations of toxic metals presented in these secondary raw materials. Except exogenous factors on these deposited wastes there are also biogenous influences. Microbial metal leaching represents a potential environmental hazard. However, these microbial activities can be successfully applied almost for detoxication or for the recovery of metals. Our effort was aimed to biological leaching of metallurgical wastes with bacteria Thiobacillus ferrooxidans. In the obtained extracts the concentrations of Fe, Zn, Cd, Pb and Mn were obse
