Description
| - The fulfilment of the tasks set is a measure of entrepreneurial success. This success builds on the competence of people that work for the company. We understand the employee competence as a sum of their actual performance and their latent abilities. Both is essential and provides for the competence completeness. The lack or scarcity of the occupational competence causes problems in running industrial enterprises and, as such, a continuing improvement of competence levels is a must. If a company is aware of the fact, by improving competence standards, it can not only solve their current problems but also remove causes of future problem incidence. This paper has concentrated on assessment of the occupational competences and competence models as tools of HR management.
